This gorgeous coffee nook can be found underneath the Cudgen Surf Life Saving Club( Kingscliff). We have been watching and waiting for this little jackpot to be open for a while now and finally….it is!

If you are looking for somewhere that has room for dogs, cats, birds and children to roam and be free this is your spot. Being situated underneath the Surf Club and to the right of Rowan Robinson Park, means epic views of the beach.

Huge amount of grassed area, little hills to run up and down and seating available to sit and relax. The Local Espresso also have gorgeous milk crate style chairs and umbrellas to sit underneath while you watch the family go wild on the sand. This is one of those places where you can truly just sit and relax knowing the kids are not going to disturb anyone else.

Apart from amazing coffee from Pablo and Rustys, Local Espresso have brekky on the go such as muffins, pastries and smoothies or a lunch menu including toasties, Acai bowls plus heaps more. They offer vegan and gluten free options and are open 7 days a week from 6am.

Located right in the heart of the Kingscliff there are shops to browse 5 mins walk away plus public toilets and BBQ areas close by. We’ve been loving heading down super early, grabbing a coffee and enjoy the morning together as a family.

The staff here are super friendly and accommodating (even bringing out more napkins when ‘someone’ decided to pour their açai bowl all over themselves!). Go and check them out – we’ll see you there!

The Local Espresso passes the kid friendly test because…..

The convenience!! No navigating prams inside shops! and the coffee….always the coffee!
