If you’re after more of a bush view than an ocean view this little park might be for you. This park is located within Burleigh Ridge Park which is also a great little spot for a bushwalk with kids. You’re likely to spot some wildlife when you visit this park. We had 2 kookaburras laughing over head when we visited and there’s also koalas around sometimes and lots of other birds and lizards and probably even snakes in summer so just make sure your kids know the rules there.

There are four access points to the park so you can start or finish your visit with a little wander through the big trees that surround the playground. It’s a really pretty spot.

You can access the park from the following locations.

  • Marjorie St Henry (MBE) Park Tabilban Street (this playground)
  • Tabilban Street and Reserve Road
  • Gold Coast Hwy Burleigh Heads (Opposite Peggs Road)
  • Corner of George & West Streets Burleigh Heads

There’s just enough equipment to keep the kids happy for a while, and there’s a flying fox which are always a winner in my house. There’s also a set of swings, a slide and some climbing poles and chains.

The park isn’t fenced but is set back from the road. It’s a busy one though so be careful if your kids like to wander.
