Great little park at the entrance of Norries Headland walk, where you can sit and picnic whilst whale spotting.

The playground equipment includes climbing nets, steps, ladders, two slides (a small general one and a steep tunnel slide), two swings and a ‘spinney thing’. This playground also has a little beach café for the kids to let loose their imaginations (baby chino anyone?!).

There are so many trees surrounding this area it doesn’t matter that there isn’t any shade sales. There are toilets and showers next to the play equipment as well as BBQs, seating and heaps of parking. This area can get fairly busy on a good surf day so sometimes the ‘heaps of parking’ can be used very quickly and the carpark can become busy.

There aren’t any shops within easy walking distance but pack some snacks and venture up the amazing headland walk instead. A pram isn’t suitable for this walk (….steps!) but toddlers and children should be okay to walk it with an adults help. It is only a short climb and well worth the look – great place to spot whales. There are also walkways down to both Cabarita and Maggies Beaches.
