Winders Park can be found overlooking the gorgeous Currumbin creek in Currumbin. This very long park is made up of 3 different sets of play equipment equally spaced out alongside the creek. We’ve also added Apex Park to this post because it’s right next door and if this park is too busy you can try your luck at Apex.
Each of the little playground spots offer different equipment. Most of the equipment at each of the spots is toddler friendly and not overly adventurous. You can find swings, slides, flying foxes, ramps, climbing frames plus more. There are shade sales over the equipment as well as toilets, drinking fountains and rubbish bins.
Along side these playgrounds before you get to the creek is a flat, quiet road with a low speed limit so you can ride your wheels fairly safely from each of the playground stations to the next.
This is also a magic spot to watch paddle boarders, kayakers and fishermen in the creek. There are also two bridges in view for those who love car watching and truck spotting. This park is not fenced and there is plenty of grassed areas between play equipment for it not to feel crowded.
