One of our most favourite places to visit in our area! You can easily spend a whole day exploring this park – there is SO MUCH to do! Feed the kangaroos, hold a koala, watch one of the many incredible animal shows or ride the train around and around. Catch the free wild lorikeet feeding sessions that happen twice daily, enjoy watching and learning from the Aboriginal dance performance, attempt the high ropes course at The Treetop Challenge, visit the animal hospital plus there is also a Gruffalo trail where you can get your picture taken with all the characters (don’t forget to download the free app!).

We’ve been recently to enjoy the new Wild Island Adventure Splash Zone and the kids LOVED it – such a fun spot to cool off and play after all the exploring you’ll do. There are water jets to run through, streams to run under and a waterfall bucket that you may (or may not!) want to be standing under when it hits tipping point. There are a few shaded seats inside the water play area, a few picnic tables surrounding it next to the newly renovated playground and two huge change rooms that you can take everyone, plus the pram, seven bags and whatever else you’re lugging around, into! Highly recommend! Probably best for toddler and primary aged children.
